Its Friday and I am in bed. Yes, I am. Why? Because my week has been extremely busy at work... again, and also I am feeling somewhat flat due to the passing of my beautiful fur baby, dog, last night. I had to make the decision to PTS her. She was almost 18 years of age, and was my first 'child'. Her quality of life was declining, she wasn't eating as much, she was weak when she stood but always managed to greet me each afternoon when I arrived home. She loved her Mum very much. It was one of the hardest decisions I have made in life and so the family and I felt extreme sadness yesterday. Today, we are a little better but only a little better.
